The Game
A small adventure that keeps growing.
A pixel adventure about setting out: explore an endless world, fight up close and honest, grab loot you can actually see and bond with creatures who join your journey – solo, on the couch or online with friends.
Explore
A world without edges: the land forms as you walk. Meadows, forests, swamps, snowfields – the further you dare to go, the more dangerous and rewarding it gets.
Fight & Loot
Click or WASD, direct melee without a stamina bar. Loot lies right there in the world, and you feel every new sword and every piece of armor instantly.
Bond Companions
Defeat a creature without killing it and offer it a bond. Wolf, fox, wisp or even a troll will travel with you, level up and learn abilities.
Secrets
Puzzle sites, shrines, dungeons, world bosses and hidden treasure with map clues. 100 crystal fragments open the portal in the end.
- world that forms as you explore
- ∞
- crystal fragments to the portal
- 100
- enemy types, from goblin to yeti
- 37

The World
Behind every forest, there's more.
The world forms as you explore and grows more dangerous with every step away from the starting village. Time and weather change the mood: fireflies on warm nights, fog banks over the swamp, thunderstorms rolling in.
Try it: this little world is being drawn live in your browser right now, without a single image file – just like in the game.
Companions
Nobody likes to travel alone.
Every species wants to be won over in its own way. Bonded companions follow you, fight alongside you, level up to 20 and evolve. You can switch at any companion shrine in a village.
Combat
Wolf → Silver Wolf
Fast, loyal and fierce. Fights right by your side.
- QRending Bite Leaps at the target: a heavy bite that makes it bleed.
- EHowl Enemies slow down while you hit harder.
Defeat it without killing it – then it yields.
Treasure hunting
Fox → Ember Fox
Curious and clever. Sniffs out what others miss.
- QSniff Shows the nearest undiscovered treasure site on the map.
- EFeint Distracts the target and stuns it briefly.
Follow it without hunting it, and it will trust you.
Defense
Boar → Iron Boar
Thick-skulled and thick-skinned. Stands between you and the pain.
- QShield Wall Much more armor for a few seconds.
- ECharge Rushes the target, knocks it back and stuns it.
Dodge its charges instead of striking back.
Healing
Wisp → Soul Light
A floating light from another age. Heals and wards.
- QLight Heal Heals you for a fifth of your health.
- EWarding Circle Slows nearby enemies and scorches them.
Light the old stones in its order.
Combat · unique
Grumbold → Moss Giant
A troll who never wanted to be like the others. Huge, good-natured – and dangerous to anyone who hurts you.
- QBoulder Hurls a rock that also hits anyone nearby.
- EQuake Stomps the ground and slows every enemy around.
Somewhere there is a troll camp. One of them is different.
Exploration · rare
Storm Griffin → Sky Griffin
Hatched from an ancient egg. Sees the world from above.
- QScout Flight Reveals the map far around you and marks the next site.
- EDive Swoops down on the target and knocks it back.
High up, there is an abandoned giant's nest …
And almost every monster, too.
Weaken a goblin, a skeleton or a yeti enough and a paw appears: now you can try to bond. Up to five companions travel in your collection.
Game Modes
Set out alone. Or together.
Singleplayer is the heart of the game. After that come two ways to share the world: on the couch and over the internet.
- Playable in beta
Singleplayer
Your adventure at your own pace. Three save slots, autosave at key places, and the world waits until you come back.
- Full story with final boss and postgame
- Companions as loyal partners
- Saves at milestones and at the inn
- Planned
Local Co-op
Together on one screen: one fights up front, the other gathers loot. A shared world, shared progress.
- Together on the same PC or TV
- Best with a controller
- One world, one adventure
- Planned
Online Co-op
One player hosts, friends join their world. The save stays with the host, just like you know it from co-op adventures.
- Host invites friends into their world
- Progress is saved by the host
- No dedicated server needed
How online co-op works
- The host starts the world. One player loads their save or starts fresh.
- Friends join. With an invite they jump straight into the running world.
- The host keeps the save. Everything you achieve together is saved in their world.
Online co-op is planned. Details such as the player count are not final yet.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
When does Ramblekin come out?
There is no date yet. Singleplayer is already playable from start to finish; the co-op modes come next. Sign up at the bottom right and we'll let you know as soon as you can play.
Which platforms can I play on?
Windows PC first. Mouse and keyboard controls, controller support is planned.
How does online co-op work?
One player is the host: they start their world and invite friends. Everyone plays and saves in the host's world. Nobody needs their own server.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Singleplayer and local co-op run completely offline. You only need a connection for online co-op.
What are companions?
Creatures you don't kill but win over. Every species wants to be convinced differently. Bonded companions fight with you, level up and learn abilities you trigger with Q, E and R.
Is the world really endless?
Yes. The land forms from a fixed seed as you explore, and danger grows with the distance from the starting village. The story stays focused: 100 fragments lead to the finale.
